There are several places locally to get stuff you may have forgotten or need:
Paint Bank General Store
and Swinging Bridge Restaurant has gasoline, sundries, beer, ice, basic supplies and propane gas tanks. Upstairs is a gift/novelties shop. Go down to main road, turn left and go 10.5 miles.

The Barn
Small grocery on the outskirts of Gap Mills with a little bit of everything, gasoline, beer, food, car supplies (anti-freeze) ice & propane gas tanks.
8075 Sweet Spring Valley Rd., Gap Mills, WV 24941 . From the Farm, go back over mountain, turn right on Zenith Road to Gap Mills, turn left on Rt. 3 and it's about 1/2 mile down on the right, after Moncove Lake turn. 304-772-3188
Cheese & More Store
Everyone's favorite, nuts, candy, trail mix, packaged addictive carbs. They also provide wonderful cheese & cold cuts. Get delli sandwiches for take-out. In season there is a vegetable stand & bakery across the road. Further down is a large gift/novelty shop with pottery, textiles, ironwork, and more. From the Farm, go back over mountain, turn right on Zenith Road, turn right when you come to Rt. 3, it's right there. 304-772-5211
Union W VA:
There is a great Tru-Value hardware store in Union, they always have what you need - stove pipes, shower controls for outdoor shower, window glass etc.
There's usually at least one good restaurant and an ice cream shop. There's also a real IGA grocery store, and maybe a place to buy hard liquor, it used to be in an auto parts store. Go past the Barn outside Gap Mills, about 5 miles on Rt. 3.
